What is foreclosure? 

Basically, foreclosure is a process of financial institutions taking back the property that was bought with borrowed money because the money was not being paid back as formerly agreed.Nowadays, foreclosure is no longer an uncommon crisis. 

Here are some foreclosure facts; generally foreclosure is divided into three stages. The first stage is known as pre-foreclosure, second stage is foreclosure and the last stage is foreclosure auction.

By then, if you are still unable to come up with the money, foreclosure begins.

As foreclosure commences, you are left with little options. For example, you can further renegotiate with your financial institute to delay the dateline. Moreover, you can even try to refinance your original loan if you can guarantee the lender that you can make the payment. Besides that, you can try to sell your property to a relative or trusted friend to prevent foreclosure. If worse comes to worst, you can try to declare bankruptcy to stop foreclosure but this is not an advisable solution. On the other hand, you can try to seek help from foreclosure specialists. They are professionals in these issues and are able to suggest solutions or strategies that you would never think of. Furthermore, they might even negotiate with the lender on your behalf.

Last but not least, the last stage is foreclosure auction. In this stage, your property will be auctioned in public and sold to the highest bidder and the money will automatically go into the lender's account. It is very unfortunate if you ever reached this stage as you would have lost your home.
